Hi guys.

This is my first post here, I have Started a 2240 project and plan on doing alot of work to it.
I started with a simple trigger job. I started by polishing the trigger and the sear, than I got a little creative, I did not like the way the pivot pins floated so I changed them. I replaced them with 1/8 folder pivot. A folder pivot is a stainless steel threaded tube that is 3/8 in length, with threads for a 2-56 screw . I had to drill out the little dimples where the original pivots with a clearance hole and chamfer the out side to fit the flat head bolt. I then srcew the new pivot to the frame and placed a .010 nylon washer then the trigger then another washer. I did the same to the sear . Now my trigger is very stable and smooth. I need a lighter spring and I will have almost finished my trigger set-up. I will post some pics of what I did, shortly.

I am really looking forward building my airgun and know I will need a lot of help.

thanks a bunch
jimi
