I'm just curious who is planning on attending at least one Field Target match this year and if so, what match you are thinking of going to and what division you plan on shooting in.

Let us know, hopefully there will be several people who are going to try it out and maybe a bunch will show up at the same match. It'd be great to see several newcomers at a single match - much less intimidating (not that its an intimidating thing) but it would be good to see.

The locations and times are the first two stickies in the FT Forum. The clubs are easy to locate, thanks to the maps provided, and don't be late for the warm-ups, lol.

I'm hoping to get out to at least one event to try it out.

I'll be coming out for sure. I'm going to want some practice time with my new setup before going to a match, so hopefully I'll get at least a few weekends of nice weather to practice before attempting to compete my first time.

I'm thinking of hitting Elmira this season. It might not work out as far as dates but I'm Interested to say the least, and would love to give it a whirl.
I'm thinking Hunter division for now,but if the bug bites hard....it wouldn't be a stretch to see a new gun and optics in my future. :D And that is always good. :D :D :D

How far up North are you Rockslider?

We may try an inaugural match in the Sundridge/South River area (between Huntsville and North Bay). No date has been set yet, but there is a good chance it will happen. Some of the Southern Ontario shooters have expressed interest in supporting this event. If could be a nice weekend away in cottage country.

Virus:

Should things work out, there might be an inaugural FT match outside of Ottawa sometime this season. A few of us are thinking about carpooling it with a few boxes of targets, to give it a shot in the arm.

Photoguy:

See you some day at the range and think about leaving the Drozd you pick up here with Womdbag. I am sure it will be well u......cared for while you are away. lol.
