A lot of Air Arms, but no one got me with my AA Shamal

You don't see too many of those!

I assume the Pro Target still has a super reputation over there?

I'm the only one in Scotland shooting a Shamal, still love it, looks old but it so new inside, Dave Welham of Airmasters built me a new reg and gave it a tune.

The Pro Target is a great gun and yes still got a super rep here.

What are the popular guns for FT over there?

These are what you see at the large US matches, and also quite popular here in Canada.

PCP
- Steyr LG 100/110 FT
- Mac1 USFT (US origin)
- FWB P70
- Walther Dominator
- Pro Target
- EV2 (MK2 is catching on quite well, better than the original did)
- Theoben MFR (a few)
- Ripley (a few)
- Daystate CR97 (few)
- S400 (catching on with the new MPR-FT stock)
(here in Canada we have a few guys using the LD-SS, AA S300, Logun Solo, and AA NJR100 as well)

Springer
- TX200
- TX200SR
- HW97
- JW 50/60/65/70
(here in Canada we have guys using the FWB 300 and a Diana 54 as well).

Have you ever come across a chap that goes by the name "Jimmer" (Stamp) over there? He is a Scottish FT shooter from Honiton.

The name doesn't ring a bell, will ask about though

Thats likely because he's way south of you in England. Stamp...Honiton...English. Sorry. LOL

I know him (Jimmer) too, but was thinking of another guy from Scotland, but he is actually from Pencaitland, East Lothian, by the name of Sibbald. Not sure he is into FT as much though. Jimmer is.

Got the two of them mixed up in my mind.

I shoot with folk from all over, my club put on one of the Grand Prix events where shooters from all over the UK meet up and shoot so might have shot with him then, will ask this year if he's there.

Now, that one does ring a bell, think he's a member of Juniper Green... if it's who I think it is... Pencaitland is about 10mins from my ex's so, about 45mins from me.

Got the two of them mixed up in my mind.

... Ah yes, I get those "senior moments" too
