I need a machinist that can make me a 2240 exhaust valve out of stainless steal. Anyone capable of making one?

I work with several machinists which are capable of making a valve from a stainless rod, but we apparently lack the equipment/tooling to make the seat and the inside threads properly.
They have taught me a lot. I can refill a Crosman valve transfer port and mounting screw, to replace them at 90 degrees with a new angled port.
If you find a local guy that is willing, he won't be cheap. It takes a lot of time.
How about approaching the creator of the max-flow valves, it wouldn't be that different than what he's already accomplished. Stainless is harder/slower to work with, but other than that it's the same to work with.

So was it the 'cheap' machinist that made you that wobbly valve bits?

No! The stock 2240 exhaust valve is a POS!
