My excruciating wait is finally over. Just picked up my new rifle at the post office this afternoon.
I ordered this from Top Gun Airguns in Arizona around 6 weeks ago. I had it registered in my name, then faxed the papers to have them affixed to the box when it crossed the Canadian Border.
I received a scary phone call about 4 days ago from the CFC saying the serial number on my registration papers did not match the rifle. Turned out the shop had sent me the wrong number, but luckily they were very understanding and agreed to just send me the rifle, and re-issue a new registration certificate for me. Phew!
I haven't had a chance to fire the rifle yet, but so far I am pleased. There are a couple small marks on the stock from shipping, but I think that was most likely caused when the customs agents unwrapped the rifle, then did a poor job wrapping it back up.
It is an AA S400-SL XTRA FAC action with the side-lever, adjustable power and large shroud. It has the adjustable MPR stock and trigger with the aluminum butt plate from the EV2. The walnut stock is really beautiful.
Thanks to Chris for answering all my questions and assuring me this was THE rifle for me to order. Thanks to Tim for letting me test drive his rifle before ordering mine!
Here's the shipping box with the registration taped to the front to aide in a speedy trip through customs.

Adjustable trigger and beautiful walnut.

Small shipping marks on stock :(

Next to his big brother. Funny how the new shrouded .177 barrel is so much larger than the older shrouded .22 barrel!

Looking good Tom, that is really a great rifle, are you planning to make the jump to the international FT division?

Thats nice... I have an S410, they're great guns, you will love it.

Looks like you are getting a bit of a collection of Air Arms there... bit like mine (s410, Dave Welham Shamal and a RN10 Pro Target)...

Thanks for the congrats everyone, I can't wait to get a scope on her!
Nighthawk - this was definitely the reason I sold you the Mako (and a couple of my other rifles as well!) Hope you're still enjoying it!
pirellip - I am planning to go the international FT route. I really admire what those guys can do. At least with this rifle if I get frustrated with 12ftlbs I can crank 'er up
Suprmatic - yes, it didn't take me long to get hooked, which is a great excuse to upgrade the equipment. Scope is next I suppose....
CJN - thanks again for everything!!!
Photoguy2910 - these Air Arms rifles have spoiled me to the point that I have sold every other rifle I owned! With your collection I'm sure you know what I mean!
