Nice collection. Is that a Marksman 2004 or a HW40 PCA?

Yeah thats on my list of things to do along with longer barrel and muzzle break, maybe even the gas chamber so it'll look like a 2250.......

I'll get around to it......

I got the 2240 last year around this time cause i had an attic full of squirrels......

If you get one of the good ones, they are well worth the price. But you probably won't, Marksman has serious QC probs with that gun.

For the price its actually a pretty decent pistol. The aforementioned QC issues seem to center on pins that work their way out (easily fixed with a 6-32 set screw) sights that don't stay set or o-ring failures.

If you do not push on the rear sight while cocking it the sight will hold zero.

There are 3 places that it can leak from. All of those places are sealed with o-rings. The o-rings will cost you about 25 cents from an auto parts store. I can fix my M2K4 approximately 400 times (800 if I just flip the cup seal o-ring over) for the price difference between it and a Beeman P3/HW-40.

Would you return a Crosman because the trigger sucks?
The M2K4 trigger doesn't suck. Trigger weight is just over a pound.

I liked mine so much I bought a second one to hack on.
I really appreciate the fact that there is no reciprocating mass. It requires nothing but pellets and a couple of drops of oil every few hundred shots.

If you have zero mechanical ability, don't buy it.

I agree, pretty decent pistol for the buck.....

Sweet trigger, great accuracy, nice and quiet and minimal recoil. Great for shooting in the house. I havnt had any loosening pins yet and I use a red dot on it so there goes loose sight problem. If I blow an O ring no big deal either, easily replaced.....

Must take it for what it is though, it's not a powerfull canon but it might take out a tree rat at 20-30 feet with a head shot, although I wouldnt recomend it.....

Perfect for paper punching though, all depends what your needs are. Like get the right tool for the job and you should be okay....
