How does the fps work in regard to pellet weight? For example if I were to use a heavy weight .177 pellet and adjust the pistol to shoot just under 500 fps, however if measured with standard 7.9 grain .177 it would be above that.

Also on multi pump pistols like 1377, say if a flat top pistol were installed, how many pumps will it be measured at?

The chronograph testing would be done with the pellet you use in the match. If you are under 500 fps, your are good to go.

My pistol is declared over 500fps ( A Diana Magnum) and with lighter ammo such as RWS HOBBY at 0.77grams it sparks well over 610...waiting to receive the new tin pellets ultra lights with no lead at all.Fortunatelly in my country there s no limitations for air pistols... :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers:

In these rules it says scopes are restricted to 12X.
At the beginning of this thread the rules say 4X.
Did I miss something?

Nice. I plan on doing some traveling for archery this summer. Perhaps I can get in some airgun shoots. :) :)

These are the CAFTA rules, but it's up to each Match Director.
