A friend of mine brought an old BB gun over for me to look at some weeks ago. It is a Plainsman Co2 repeater. The only problem that the gun had was that it used the old style short Co2 powerlets. With a little mod to the valve and a new hollow cap it works like a charm. :supz:

Talk to Kevin (K & S). He has some 22 cal barrels that might work if put inside a shroud.

It appears that the old short powerlet also had a larger neck. I turned a bushing and pressed it into the reciever on the valve so that the moden powerlet would center over the pearcing pin. There was no spacer and the cap was to short to bore out so I made a new one.

More gunsmithing???????? Only if I am sure that I can't bugger up the gun or if it is a "lost cause that can't be fixed" like this one

I intend to addvertize localy for unwanted airguns that I can practice on. Any that I fix I can sell and if I bugger one up it is no big deal. That is what I did with the Telly that I got. It would just barely push a pellet out of the barrel. When I took it apart I found that some very enterprizing young rascal had tried to make a scatter gun out of it by pouring shot into the cylinder  Boys will be boys  The leather cup was impregnated with shot. I made a brass piston with a "O" ring seal and it seems to work well.

All in all a very ejoyable hobby.
