What is the schedule for Field target at Elmira this year?

I looked and did a search but I obviously am crappy at finding stuff.

Is there a scheduled "night" that the FT guys/gals meet? Is it open to "guests"?

Thank you,

araz2114

The only match scheduled in Elmira this year is the Nationals match. They may add a couple more, but we have not heard any confirmation of this yet. When we do we will update the CAFTA web page and see if a sticky can be added above on this forum. Do you like FT enough to make the trip to Port Colborne? Most matches of the 2009 season will be held in Port. Hope you can make it over.

Too bad, I live 15 minutes from Elmira.

Do you know if they have a "night" that they shoot?

I can make it to Pt. Colbourne but Elmira is much much handier.

Like I said, at this time there are no Elmira matches scheduled other than the National match. So if you want to shoot FT matches you will need to travel to Port. Not much choice here, unless the Elmira club books more matches. I hope they will.

If you are asking if some FT shooters meet at the Elmira Rod and Gun club in the evenings to practice shooting FT or just shoot their air rifles, I'm not aware that they do. Most of those who support the FT matches in Elmira come from out of town. There are a few FT shooters who hold a membership at the Elmira club, and they likely shoot there occasionally, but I'm not sure when.
