Hello all. My two drozds are built tough. Typical Russian arms. Solid steel and very hard plastic. The stock ones shoot about 460-490 fps. The modded ones 800-1060fps. There are many mods for these guns. Longer barrels, Hpa systems, batteries and many more.The gun can be kept below 500fps by adjusting a small screw on the the side called a POT. They are not very accurate with the stock barrel. Around 1 inch to 1.5 inch group at 10 meters. What they lack in accuracy they make up in rate of fire. The stock ones can fire 6 round bursts at 60o rpm. The modded ones from 900-1200 rpm and full auto.They are a huge amount of fun even at less than 500fps. The only short coming is the 30 round magazine. The new Blackbird Drozd has a 200-300 magazine. At 600 rpm 30 bb's last only 3 seconds at 1200 rpm only 1.5 seconds.Do not under any circumstances use crosman copperheads in this gun. They are very inaccurate and will damage the barrel.Use Daisy zinc platted. There is a 3% gain in fps and a 200% increase in accuracy. These guns are extremly well made and will last a long time.PS. I should add the stock gun has adjustable rate of fire single shot 3 round burst and 6 round burst at 300rpm,450rpm and 600rpm.
