We will try again with the first official FT match, with awards, of the 2009 season, held at the PC&DCC, hosted by the Port Colborne FT Club. It will be a sixty shot match with five sets of awards. There will be Hunter Division, Piston Division with both Open and International and PCP Division with both Open and International. Any extra awards will be ordered by Wednesday morning and will be based on the number of committed shooters I have at that time. They will have May 16th as the date on the awards, as I already had the awards made up when we postponed.

The gate will open at 8:00AM. Once the sight in range is set up, it will open, which is usually between 9:00 and 9:30AM. The sight in period will end at approximately 10:45AM and the shooters meeting will be held. The match will start at 11:00AM. The break after 30 shots should be long enough to fill guns and if you choose to, grab a bite to eat and drink. Ten minutes should be plenty of time.

After everyone has finished the match and scores have been tallied, awards will be presented. At this point, if time permits, more shooting on the sight in range will be available and targets will be pulled.

This notice will go out on the forums and also by email to anyone on the Canadian FT Shooters email list.

Please let me know _*by or before Tuesday evening*_ if you will be attending and what division, and if applicable, what class you will be shooting in.
I look forward to seeing many of you on Saturday June 6th in Port.

The Match Directors at Port
Dennis E., Chris N. and Tim

Crap.. See? That's what happens when I procrastinate.... I didn't get the chance to practice FT shooting yet and already there's a match so soon.. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait for the next one!

I have not practiced at all either. But I will be there.

Come on over and shoot if you are able. You will get lots of practice at the match and have a good time in the process.

I must say I had a great time at Port Colborne today.
Thanks to CAFTA for organizing the fun event.
That was only my second official FT Hunter Division Match
and got to the third place after duelling the shoot out for the position.

Cheers.

Thank you, Gents.
The shoot out was really nerve breaker, I guess for beginner ... lol...
20 yards 3/4" kill zone looked so easy, even with a bit of wind, 7 shots later .... darn... got it .... yahoooooo .....

Congrats to all the winners. Parker ... First Place Hunter Div.
