With ten pumps, my 1389 will sink about half the head of the pellet into wood :? . With fifty, it will sink in the head, and about half of the skirt. (Wadcuttaz) What's wrong with my gun?? I recieved it at the end of last summer, and it was just as under-powered then.

Maybe you have a leak in the air valve.

Damn, depending on the wood, my winchester 500x can go through around 2cm of wood with a pointed Crosman pellet... hmmm I should do some testing with both pointer and wads, and different types of wood... :)

Cheers,
Alex

Well my 2240 will shoot a whole pellet and a bit in to wood, and that was a wadcutter.
