With ten pumps, my 1389 will sink about half the head of the pellet into wood

. With fifty, it will sink in the head, and about half of the skirt. (Wadcuttaz) What's wrong with my gun?? I recieved it at the end of last summer, and it was just as under-powered then.

Damn, depending on the wood, my winchester 500x can go through around 2cm of wood with a pointed Crosman pellet... hmmm I should do some testing with both pointer and wads, and different types of wood...

yeh...they may not be anything wrong, wadcutters are horrible at penetrating wood....also it depends on the wood.

Well my 2240 will shoot a whole pellet and a bit in to wood, and that was a wadcutter.
