This 22xx breech was the prototype in a batch of new breeches. It was the first through each machining process. It was the one I was offering to be sacrificed to a wrong calculation, however it successfully made it to completion.
It's 9.5" from end to end and 8.75" of hex with the last 3/4" rounded for the machining process (it's longer than a 2240 tube). The front can be cut off or part of the design.
The reason I'm putting it in freelance, is it's basically a blank. It needs further machining for mounting scopes/optics, cosmetic work and bluing. However, it's fully functional and already fired it's first pellet.
I can complete the breech, but need to know the desired length, mounts, etc...

The first "I'll take it" with a good offer gets it. I'm still debating on putting it on my own 2289, but I have my name on a longer one in the batch already.
I would put it for sale at a set price, but the price really depends on the amount of work yet to be done. Let me know what you want...

The finished product is the same style as this one, except it is longer than the 2240 tube and you choose how to terminate the front of the breech:

Here is the blank as it sits (2240 tube and 2289 tube):
