I have been using the Air Ranger 60 now for three weeks. All I can say is WOW - what a weapon!! I mounted a Bushnell Elite 6500T, 4-16x with a 30mm tube, 42mm objective.

Fit & Finish: stock is walnut, made by Minelli, very well machined, no rough edges, extremely accurate fit, nice fitting stock - only complaint is that the walnut seems to have just a stained finish, no finishing oil rub - so it looked and felt rather flat. Four coats of linseed oil later fixed her right up, now she has a much darker glow.

Metal Work: excellent bluing, fit and finish, bolt slide action very tight, no wiggle, and finished in natural color. Pellet pusher is very true to the bore, and pull back is a little stiff to cock the trigger. Trigger has two stage, nice first stage and positive let off. Pellet magazine fits nice and tight in the rails, and every so often only advances half way - I believe this is because the over sized pellets are binding the rotary mechanism.

Shooting Performance: The AR seems to like heavier pellets 28+ grains gives me groupings of pellet on pellet at 25 yds. In fact I got so bored shooting paper that I am shooting 14 grain .22 pellets at 75 feet hitting 3/3 - its that good! and I'm a pretty poor shot IMO. Report is very loud, you have to wear ear protection in tight spaces, so this is not for back yard plinking for sure. My barrel does not have a shroud on it, so the dbs are high. With a 29gr Daystate, it ploughs through a 2x6 like butter, so you need two 2x4 back to back for a safe backstop. The pressure sweet spot for filling seems to be around 3000psi or 210 bar. I get about 30-40 decent power shots, pressure drops to about 2700 psi.

This is truly one sweet gun!
