They are not that hard to work on. No special tools are required to tear them down. After it's apart, it basically just a de-burr and relube.

You will find 4 videos called proper air rifle disassembly, they are dealing directly with the Phantom...As well, I have a video show9ng how to make a spring compressor, should be about all you need aside from lube and tools.... :drinkers:

"Need" and "should use" are not the same thing- but pulling apart any springer without a compressor could be bad news.
