I,m supposed to get my new air rifle today by Canada post, but because of the so called storm, it might not get here till Monday. What ever happened to the old saying, let rain nor snow nor sleet nor hail nor dark of night stop the mailman on his duly appointed rounds? When I was a kid we walked 2 miles to school, up hill both ways, the only time the school bus didn't run was when the driver couldn't find it. the mailman carried a shovel and snowshoes. Nowadays when LIBBYS has a sale on their deep brown beans in Ontario, everything east of them shuts down for a couple of days because of high winds.

Does gettin crochety automatically come with old age???
