I brought one back from the amazon. It was a smaller one, about 3.5 feet. Canada custom's said you cannot bring that in. I whined a bit and they filled the barrel with scrap paper and let me and the blowgun go. Got home and pushed the paper out with a gun cleaning rod. Worked perfectly.I also brought about 10 darts and some perannia jaws for sharping the darts. They never seen the darts or the fish jaws.

I find the paper in the blowgun quite strange. Either the CBSA was sloppy at doing his job, or he wanted you enjoy your blowgun.

i was looking at getting rid of some pigeons with one inside city limits but then i found out the bad news.
and i know i could never make one after hearing that, but... this is exactly what i told my wife....that if i emptied out a bic and use it for spit balls i would be breaking the law.
i can't believe they are prohibited. but i guess there is a reason.

ps- my wife told me to try my compound bow. i said "yea, that should go over well." with the arrows either going through the siding and sheathing of the house or having pigeons screwered to the side of the house for all to see. i can't see anyone walking or driving by a main street in halifax having anything to say after seeing that. to reassure you all.... i did not follow that piece of advice. and she said i have crazy ideas!!!!!
