Well it finally getting close to another PFT match and I can't wait :!:

I pulled out Snoopy to do a regular "check-up" as well as some more mods. The first thing I did was removed the tube stripped it, and re-blued it, this is the third part I have ever blued in my life and I think it turned out quite nice for CT cold bluing...

I took a picture of my transfer port and both seals, this is the O-ring I use to seal off the top of the transfer port, I only use them in combination with a breech band though as they will cause the breech to sit slightly too high without it...

For a change of pace I swapped out the lube on all trigger parts from Beeman 60% Moly to Napier Power Airgun Grease, will report back on differences...1st pic with Moly, 2nd with NPAG

Both true, but not what I was referencing... :)

It does have something to do with "safety" though  :)

Thank You...

Nope, that is just the spring adjuster and Woodward non-adjustable sear :)

Nope, its bright red and only used on metal squirrels, good guess though :)

Besides washers on the trigger, there is a c-clip i noticed, & the only other thing i could see that wasn't actually mentioned was the rear cap on the tube matches the front cap color scheme. That's all i got.
Nice work blueing. The custom breech band suddenly appeals to me. Snoopy is a prime example of modding a 1377 to the tits. Looks like hours & hours of enjoyment to me.
See you at the match. We could shoot our 1377s together this time & be the most distracting duo on the line with all that concentrated noisy pumping ...... or NOT !!!  , still

Ah the end cap? good eye, but still there is something else I am thinking of :)

I have put at least 22-23hrs into Snoopy over the last year or so, a lot of fun and a lot of learning

Alright if you want to pair up for the shoot I am down, will be good to have a 1377 bonanza
