I was at walmart and got a bushnell 5x15x40 mildot for 140 w tax, that is a steal!! sniper sells them for 180 and i though that was cheap. Since bushnell discontinued it their getting rid of them and stocking the banner 6x18 instead, you wont find any sale info, call the store and ask if they have any left.

this was the one in orangeville, i got the last one :P

Wow thats one heck of a deal! I have two of these scopes and I can say first hand that they're excellent.
I might just have to get a third now...

How do they hold up with a magnum springer. Bushnells are supposed to be good that way but I was just wondering what your experience was.

i would only put it on a pcp my experience with bushnell scopes on springers, my phantom broke 3 within 50 shots each. first a 40$ one, then a 160$ one that i returned, and it broke again.i had a 1 piece mount with 2 scope stops and it even snapped the bolt... From what i remember the recoil on that thing was like a .410

I echo that. Magnum springers need a scope that can take the pounding. My Phantom has been a scope killer...open sight for it only now.

Dude- tune your gun and the recoil will subside.
