I want the Co2 tank to run lengthwise beneath the barrel, this "tank drop box" is what I need isn't it? Do these things fit right into the 2240? I wanted to try a --Visible Impact 9oz Co2 tank-- as my power source. Is it as straight forward as that? I would rather not have the set up where the tank is vertical as it just looks silly to me. I wouldn't mind it out the back where it becomes the stock... last resort though, i guess.

Just in case I get, "why did you make a new thread" ...because it's a brand new topic, no HiPac here.

Take a look at JDSairman Bulk fill PaintBall adapter. Specially made to fit 2240's and if need information, you can give him a call in Florida. Cost is us$ 59.00. He does ship to Canada by USPS(not UPSor FedEx).

From what I can see on the website, the JDS Airman tank block is the QB block with a couple of extra holes drilled and tapped in it for safety.... This is CRITICAL if you aren't running a 1.8K burst disc in the HPA system or filling with a hand pump.... The stock QB block has been know to blow off the end of a gun when a regulator failed and put 2600 psi into a QB tube....

Either block will fit a 13 CI HPA tank as they are under 2.000" diameter.... However, most 9 oz. CO2 tanks are about 2.06" OD and interfere with the barrel on either a QB or a 22XX installation.... Archer makes a breech shim for the QBs to resolve that problem....
