I've shot Daisy Flat Nosed and Hollow Point Precision Max with my non-PAL Benj NP Trail and clocked 490 and 499.9999 fps respectively.
I haven't yet seen the Pointed types yet. Where did you buy yours?
I find that Daisy pellets aren't all that easy to find locally. Most stores only carry the Crosman brand.

PS: To answer the next question as to their weights;
Daisy Flat Nosed Precision Max 14 grains
Hollow Point Precision Max 13.3 grains

I've shot the wadcutters and found them very accurate, I had a friend weigh a few and they were averaging 13.9grns so a little lighter than most. I have also tried the hollow point .177 and found them more accurate than crossman.

The fastest and lightest .22 pellet that I've shot from my Benj was a Stoeger X-Speed which weighs in at 10.3 grains and flies really fast, too fast for me to publicly post

On the other end of the scale, I've shot a .22 cal JSB Exact Jumbo Monster which weighs in at 25.4 grains and flies only 360 fps.

I know there are super light alloy pellets made in .177 but are there any made in .22 cal?

How was the accuracy with the x-speed pellets? Are they lead?

I got them from D and L. No idea how fast. I have some predator polymags on the way. Need to reach out and touch my gopher problem. Got 2 tonight. The daisy point did more damage than the cross an point.

It must be my gun,s or me ,but the only consistently accurate Daisy pellet I have used are the wadcutters at a max of 20m. Even then I would never use them in competition. They don't come close to Hobby,s or any JSB,s. In wadcutters I have found Miesterkugeln the best.

For I think I paid $5.00 for 500 they are plenty accurate, consistently better than crossman. I don't get many if any flyers that I can blame on the Daisys. I know there cheap but I trust them more than crossman which are cheap as well but so am I.

Daisy pellets have been around for some time. Why are they still the dirtiest pellets I have come across? Chinese production can no longer be an excuse as there are other Chinese pellets that are pristine in comparison. The accuracy would soon go south if the gun shooting them had a steady diet of them due to barrel fouling. I wonder if they are coated with some kind of preservative to keep them from oxidation or if the lead is just too soft.

I have, and with the same gun (BS AW Trail NP <500).

Terrible, hideous, godawful groupings with mine.....amazing what gun likes what pellets!

Okay I've just had another look at my Stoeger X-Speed pellets and discovered that they are actually an alloy not lead and they appear to be hollow points.

From another post that I've made about the Stoeger pellets (http://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/post324423.html#p324423)
they are actually made by H&N for Stoeger. I bought them in a specialty gun shop in western NB.

As for accuracy I think the grouping is pretty good at 26 yards.

Hmmm...it looks like my scope needs to be adjusted a bit to the left :?

The .22 Daisys I bought must have been clearance priced at WM in London, haven't seen any in the last 3 months. The TSC at Hydepark in london has a big Daisy display, 3 different types of .177 Daisy pellets no .22 though.
