Had a lengthy chat with the Air Arms folks at the SHOT Show and was surprised to see no EV2 on display, nor its replacement. As reported elsewhere, the EV2 has ceased production. Unfortunately, they have run into some delays with its replacement and there wasn't even a prototype at the show. They are hoping to have it ready in time to show at IWA in March. If you had your heart set on an EV2, you'll want to get in touch with stocking dealers now as there are no more in the supply chain.

That's sad news but exciting, too. I have always liked the look and performance of the EV2's but have never owned one. I did own it's predescesor, the Pro Target for about 2 weeks but it had a few problems and had to be returned so I got a Daystate.

I am excited to see what Air Arms come up with to compete with the othe dedicated FT guns. Whatever form it takes , I'm sure it will be well worth the wait

Interesting
I bought my EV2 2 weeks ago, I'm very glad I did, It's an awsome, great, and fantastic gun. I don't like mine, I love it to bits.

I'm sure what ever they are concocting will be the newest best thing on the market.
I will still love my AA EV2 Mark Iv
