Now that's too funny! My memory is so messed up :)

Interesting your 226 does the same, I guess it's just a design fault. I think they cut the costs too far with this pistol, and probably all the similar blowback bb guns. They are trying to deliver a lot of function, and I suspect that to do it right they'd probably need to be closer to $200 bucks like the umarex pellet guns. Maybe more, since really the umarex guns are mechanically simpler than what the BB guns are trying to do.

I had a look at the safety mechanism and thought I'd fixed it by tweaking one of the springs a bit, but I guess not. Ah well, guess I'll get used to keeping a thumb hooked over it.

did anyone try using just high dense Styrofoam ? and put something behind just in case
