So after moving to Canada 18 months ago, and selling all my other rifles and scopes, I finally have an FT kit again.

This is my rifle - March 8-80x56 scope, electronic micro level, Anschutz butt hook, Jon Harris sidewheel/pointer/picatinny rail/windicator and UK Neil cocking lever/quick mag adjust lever. Laminate wood made by a friend of mine (James Mitchell) in South Africa and carbon fiber hamster by another SA friend (Alan Keyser). I removed the TEC-HRO trigger blade last night to put on my Anschutz 2013 .22LR rifle.

Now I need to get some practice in before Worlds in August... :)

These were some of my air rifles I had to get rid of before moving to Canada.... Was a sad day to sell them... :)

I had previously sold my Daystate Grand Prix, my AA EV2, my Hammerli AR20FT, my Hammerli AR20 in red converted for FT....

All of these rifles sported some laminate wood parts made by my good friend in South Africa, James Mitchell. He was SO good with airgun stocks... I so wish he was here to do some more.

Anschutz 8002 S2 converted to 12 Ft Lbs by Jon Harris (with a real crappy S&B 12,5-50x56 FT scope)...
Image

My Walther LG300 Alutec Dominator with a second crappy S&B 12.5-50x56 scope...
Image

My Steyr LG110FT Connect (early 2011 model) with March 8-80x56 scope

And finally, my 2010 model Steyr LG110FT with a THIRD crappy S&B 12.5-50x56 FT scope...

I distributed the Anschutz, Steyr and Walther rifles the last few years I was in South Africa, but never made money from it as I was always buying myself a new rifle... LOL

It must have been very sad indeed leaving all that wonderful hardware behind, Robbie

Your new outfit looks like it will get the job done though :D

Very nice indeed

I just jizzed my pants and crapped them at the same time! Can't imagine the money spent on those few rifles! Pure porn, but my wife would beat with one of those rifles if I spent that much on my new hobby!

8X80! That is insane! I had an old Unertl 36X that was great for my Remington 40XR in .22lr match. That was the most powerful scope I owned. I was shooting flies off the deer's back with it.

Pure porn!

And I have never heard anyone refer to Schmitt und Bender as "Crap" scopes!

March 8X80X56 =$4000.00 I am going for a cold shower now!

Don't get me wrong - I really like S&B's PMII range, but their attempt at an FT scope failed dismally.

I know of less than 10 people that were actually happy with their S&B FT scopes. The rest all sent them back.... I had 3 - all 3 were terrible and depending on light, would either range a 50m target as 50m, or 56m or 42.5m ????
