Not a clue myself. I have never owned a 2250 so no idea how the forend is held in place? I need people's ideas or better yet pictures of how you attach a weaver rail to the bottom side of the main tube? I have a barrel band with the 3/8" dovetail on it that I can can cut the reverse of the dovetail into the weaver rail to hold it. Attaching it near the trigger guard is the mystery??? :?:

I found this as an idea too. Creating one or two of these to attach the weaver rail.
http://crosmods.com/grips.html Scroll to bottom of the page. Make to adapters like that.

Its going to hold a bipod and possibly a flashlight/laser for my night time "Ratter" as the Brits call it! :D

Thanks Guys!

If you don't mind putting weight on the barrel, you could always buy a barrel mounted weaver rail from ebay. Or barrel mounted bipod.

Or just drill & tap the bottom of your barrel band for a larger screw, a screw that will support one half of the weaver rail.

And then bridge the rail to the screw above your trigger guard.

This should give you a good idea on how to mount a rail, Rick. Pretty much like One Shot described: http://www.crosman-air-pistol-owners-fo ... ic=11471.0

D&L also has those in both 17 moa and 20 moa slant for break barrel springers. My HW98 does not need it - imagine that.

Got two of those.

Think i will make a couple barrel bands with flats big enough to drill and tap for the Picatinny rail. Makes the most sense. No modifying factory parts that way. Use any length rail you want also!

Jim I see, now, that the 2250 BB is ready for the forearm. I can fab up some of those plates to attach to the trigger guard. I'll make a couple variants at work next week and see what I like most!

Thanks for the 411!
