Hello all - does anyone know if there is a place to get .25 cal pellets around Halifax NS ?
I believe someone had said about some store on Waverly road ?
Here is where all I have checked. CTC, Walmart, Army Navy, Better Buy sports, Princess Auto.

Thanks for your attention !

Are you set on buying locally? What about ordering online from the CAF store, D & L, SSSO, Scopes and Ammo, Airgun Source?

Called & spoke to 'Tony', very informative, didn't feel rushed.
Carries Hatsan PCP. Also has in stock various pellets.
in .22 he has 5/6 options some of which are:

.22 JSB Jumbo Heavy Diabolo (Grey Label) 1175 grams, 250 count - $9.99
.22 JSB Diabolo Exact 1030 grams, 250 count - $12.99
.22 JSB Diabolo Exact 0.930 grams, 250 count - $14.99

He also has .25 Pellets !!!
Made by 'The Peak' (Chinese) 6.35 mm 25.1 grain, 150 count - $7.99 (He did say not like the high quality ones)
Hmmm maybe time to check out this store!!

BTW: last time I ordered from "Nikkonos" on Ebay .. both tins arrived dented, a few skirts dented too but I wasn't happy with the 'good pellets' either. Have tried H&N from other online retailers as well - Sticking with JSB & CPHP (readily available)

Just bought some of those .25's frome lequille today, not as good as the benjamins for sure, but not too darn bad, and local. He has lots of goodies in there, I had a hard time not using my card.....ok, I got a Stoney point bipod too :)

Hey Matt ! thanks for the input on em Peak pellets, was about to post a topic inquiring about their quality. Are they soft lead or an alloy mix ? are the skirts robust ?
What is the expansion like & what are you using to spit em out do tell :))
I've only ONCE tried a .25 cal many many years ago got a few pigeons for the table, found too much meat destroyed .. :(
But I'll be using this .25 barrel on my NPXl 1100 soon as I can get some pellets & shooting time.
I wonder if the Crosman .25 fare better than the JSB's .. more interested in shooting between 50 - 80 yards.

Rick, I am, using an NP Xl 1100 (Stock is in .22 cal) I ordered a .25 barrel for it as well since the actual NP power plant is the exact same & so is the reciever tube. Made a cpl of mods to mine to facilitate barrel change without removing it from the stock.
Currently in .22 it propels 14.3 gr (CPHP) at avg of 970 fps, (DIY Audio chrono - mic placed at 8.5 feet - halfway between target & muzzle) Shoots JSb 18.13 gr at avg 850
Those barrels looked delicious ... I have been wondering if I could put a green mountain or LW barrel on mine .. now that I have 2 extra barrels with breach blocks.
Maybe apply heat & see what happens eh ? hot water you think or torch .. ? :axe:

Eric saw those a while back as I saw the Chrony too (about a year ago). Wondering difference in quality between JSB & Benjamins, I already know your take on JSB. Mine is entirely different.
If however you still carry JSB in .22 and .25 do let me know as I have to order a Chrony too.
If you stopped stocking JSB altogether I'll go to another vendor that I can get everything shipped at once.

Thanks.

Why not look at H&N?
