Post subject: Keeping Clean

I'm pretty particular about keeping my AG clean and wipe it off with a clean rag whenever I finish handling it although I noticed a bit of what looked like rust on the barrel where some hand sweat must've been.

Is there a recomended oil that I can lightly apply when finished shooting? Something from crappy tire or walmart would work as they're close to me.

Thanks for any advice!

I coat mine with a good quality car wax occasionally. Put it on with a soft cloth, then buff out. Others may use rem-oil.

If you're looking for a product at CT, I would suggest Rust Check, although if they carry rem-oil that is probably one of the best.

Outers product is essentially the same as Rem.

Try to keep these products off the stock as it will stain it depending on finish.

X2 and sometimes in silicone socks that cover the whole gun.
