Finaly had the chance to shoot the G17 Gen4. It's like every one said about it good ergonomic's 8) , grip 8) , blowback 8) feeling and it shoot's left and low :? (betwen the 5 and 7 on the left and down 7oclockish of my target). Made a little mod  , wrap one lap of electrical tape on the front of the inner barrel to get rid of the freeplay betwen the inner and outer barrel, made a difference  , now it shoot's betwen 7 and 8 close to 9 at the 8 8:30 oclock position.

Also I noticed a screw  on the bottom of the inner barrel that look like a hopup system from airsoft gun and also looking in the barrel I can see a flat part in the barrel :?:

Should be able to test in 2 or 3 week's, I will let you know,,, unless someone has tried it already... :?:

SilentMan,,,, :drinkers: (darn it's hot outside)

Being the happy owner of a Tanfoglio Witness 1911 since 2014 and it being at the top of my favorite list, last saturdy it stop working after 3 shot's, slide stuck halfway open unable to close it, I can pull it back but does not close, feild strip it to check a stuck BB, NOP... :?

After disassembly, ounce at home, it turn out to be the CO2 chamber that blew out of it location https://www.replicaairguns.ca/kwc-kmb76-p03-pistol-loading-nozzle going to far forward, there are signs of wear on the little plastic tab on the side that stop it from jumping out of position ...

I don't know why but I had a spare chamber ( ) put it back together and it's back to normal 8) ...

Warning, for those of you who want's to remove it, remove the allen key on the slide butt, pull the CO2 chamber assembly out of the slide, be carefull of the little spring and guide pin hiding to the left side as you pull the block they will jump out, easy to put back in, guide pin to the front...

p:s should of replace the seal at the same time...

SilentMan... :drinkers:

Cudos, Silentman!
You've maintained this thread for seven years,
despite the occasional posters who take things
off track, as they do in so many threads on this
forum.

i started out by tracking down the old family crossman transfert peacemaker. now i have 5 pistols . all in my dresser in my socks and underwear drawers. also with 2 expendables bowie knives thrown in to keep them company.

The dummy rounds and mag were added for photo dress up, buckle is a real soviet era soldier's item.

These day's, there is not much of new airgun's out so I made 2 step back out from the dark side and sold 2  of my airsoft gun's the DT4(M4 twin), the Hi-Capa twin and 4 standard Hi-Capa CO2 mag's for a fair price.

But made 1 step forward  in buying one M4 (airsoft)... accurate up to 30 meters right out of the box... not match accurate, but plinking accurate  It has semi, 3, 5, full auto...

Shooting my airgun's as much as possible, any/many of my gun's... 8)...

Including my M'n'P 40, in the past it was not cycling properly with Umarex BB's :x , so last time I finally tried it with Hornaby black diamond no problem so far I will try it again with the M'n'P 40 (just to make sure) and the USP (sensitive to)...

Finally it came down to glueing a small piece a plastic over the actuel rear sight and cutting a ''U'' shape on top, made it higher and a bit to the right (sorry no picture yet). Some picture of the result.

Fun gun that shoot very nice and can do nice grouping. but with my old eyes it's far from being the best it can do.

Dressed it and fire tried it  , zeroed the scope at 40 meters and the red dot at 20 meters using 0.30gr BB's (tried 0.25gr and it was bad at +25 meters). Grouping is tight at those distance, not match quality :? but for plinking 8) it start's to get bad after 50 meters because of the hop-up...
