Well done.
I think I will just cut mine in place with a Dremel and put a slot in it.
Worked with my Makarov.

Saddly, I haven't got the chance to shoot with it. But I'm ready, 4 magazines, Umarex (modified and work's great now) speed loader with the adapter that makes re-loading fast 30 seconds or so per magazines. As soon as I did shoot it I will post my impression. 8)

Cool. I found the PPK can shoot about 7 mags before you really start to lose power..
I have 4 mags as well, since theyre so cheap Ill probably get another 3 so I can shoot a whole CO2 and just load once.

Got a new baby in. A second 1911 Tanfoglio, I striped the paint and polish the barrel, ejection port and the nozzle lock, will probably polish the trigger later on (this winter). The gun is not so hard to dismantle, re-assembly is a bit trickyer, specificaly that rod sticking of the back it must be placed in the hole on the bottom part at the base. Left the rest of the gun on bare metal (un-polish). I love the look it gives, Just missing some kind of decorative marking's on the slide.

Also, on the new (used) Tanfoglio, I was shown a safe problem. If you cock the hammer and engage the safety, then press the trigger you can see the hammer move just a very little bit, at that point if you release the safety it let go the hammer and fires a shot whitout pressing the trigger. I have seen a video telling to replace the tiny spring of the safety, I think this should to the job, but where the heck do you get that kind of small spring like that  .

For the moments, just to make sure I will always cock the trigger before releasing the safety, you can feel the click of the trigger re-locking in position :? .

Did you guy's got the same problem :?:

My un-stripped one does not have that problem (yet), but the serial number starts with 280xxxxx, the stripped one starts with 013xxxxx, I forgot to ask the previous owner how old it is...

Safeties can not be relied on. I never use them.
I hear of this issue all the time with the KWC 1911.
As the 1911 has a grip safety, often they are carried cocked, safety off, AKA condition one.

I don't rely on safety also, always treat them as not on but some time's some people could shoot themself in the foot  on on the neighbour but... That particular gun is at least 3 years old, previous owner had it for 2 years and bought it second hand. From the serial number that's and early production. 8)
