No choice, but to take it all (completely) apart from A to Z. It's the last peace to come out. Take me about 15 to 20 minutes to tear it off.

By the way, my BlackWater (2  ) are in and they are beatifull and can confirm they use the same magazine as the Tanfoglio :supz: .

I need to do pictures (tonight) first. Then I will do some paint testing (later this week) on one of the slide to see results so I can repaint the GSG 92 right side slide to hide those ugly  white warning .

Then I will try some sanding/polishing to do accent with black :?: . Then it will be the thing, it will take a little time. Promise, I will put pictures :P .

Canadianguy, I will try to get picture on how to dis-assemble  the gun. Easy, ounce you know 8)

That's the one. Just be carefull not to drop the hammer section there is 3 pieces (including the hammer) nothing is holdig it together. That's the black pieces on the left in the picture. When pulling it out, grab it from the back and squeeze firmly. I use a big paper clip to hold it when not needing it.

Received them both, one will remain untouch, the other one is on the same state as on the picture (dismantled) got to get couple of thing to work on it. It will be totaly polish. But first, paint testing on it, with a brush gun that I have. those test are for the GSG92.

By the way parts are totaly interchangable betwen the BlackWater and the Tanfoglio Witness. Every thing is the same.

Ciao 8)

Fantastic.. The Tangfoglio looks so slick polished up and with the 'pearl' grips.
For some reason I imagined you polishing each piece by hand lol..
Dremel obviously.

Its neat to see some modded replica airguns :P
Funny how this thread has progressed over 6 pages..

I have 4 technically, I do not use one since it is a breakbarrell 15 year old piece of crap that I bought as my first rifle. Luckily I upgraded to a nice Xisco XS60C rifle. So effectively, we are tied. :p

I see how to dissable the entire gun on youtube but he's doing a Witness 1911 with single thumb saftey. The Tac and the Blackwater have
ambidextrous saftey. So my question is when you take off the thumb saftey is there a spring or anything on the opposite side saftey?

Thanks

I hade exactly the same question when I started to dismantled :?: the BW 1911. Well just ask away and tataaaaam  . Pictures apears.

You do it exactly as in the video, you push in the safety spring, pull and remove the left side part of the safety who should come out with the brass sleeve, release the safety spring smouthly, turn the right side safety lever towards the rear, it will release from the pin hiding under it and pull it out with the brass sleeve. Youre done, Does this help :?:
