well the stated projects are going faster then expected in some cases, and slower in other cases

the Winchester 500x(Turkish) has had the trigger tuned, and the inside re-lubed, so shoots even better now, trigger is wonderful

the Winchester 500x(Chinese) received the same treatment as the Turkish one, its way better then it was, so no bin of shame, may look into shortening that first stage

the raven, same as the two above, improvement on that one is astounding !!!, no bin of shame for that one either, its actually a good shooter now....who knew

I have the parts needed for the model 61, so strip and re-blue is the next step of many, this one is long term

the ruger, I received the barrel and receiver to replace the defective ones, waiting on the new trigger assembly, the one in there was used up and some parts cracked, more work to do on that one

the browning, not sure in want to tinker with the internals of that one, it working great the way it is, but would like to put work on the trigger, something funky going on with the auto safety

all of these won't take my entire winter, but I'm sure I'll come up with something else

Projects are- for my 97kt are: Get it stripped down & a touch of moly here & there, buy the Rowan Engineering parts (trigger, trigger guard, cocking lever aid). Just bling for the rifle. Install them. Debate on a Vortek/Vmach/Maccari tune kit . If I get 1, install that. Got a Vortek PG2 and shipped the gun off for a mirror polish

Get a gun cabinet! (Will help my paranoia whenever I leave the house). Got one!!

Get a new high quality springer & Disco. To help justify gun cabinet . Besides I want another HW or a Diana to compliment my new 97kt, its lonely sitting beside a couple Crosman/Benjamins. I was fortunate to get a couple quality springers this winter, a 98 and TX. Sold em both though. Also got a couple new PCP's :) Damn Darkside.

Get a Tko, either get that manual index magazine or a bnm breech for the Disco. Got 2 different pcp's! Both multishot.

Figure what HW/Diana gun I want, do the usually inspection/clean/lube. Possibly tune kit that too  Ended up getting a HW98 and TX200, no Diana.

Lastly, figure out how to exactly shim the alive jam spring to see if that fixes my Trail. Still haven't fixed my Trail!!!

Hopefully I can all that before spring! Close enough, I think!

Hey guys, Spring Time is Here! I just wanted to bring this thread back to tell you guys what I got done and to see what you folks have done. Anyone finish all of their Winter Projects, or new surprises? I know I didn't stick to my plan
