I can't seem to find any detail on this scope, so welcome any input on those with experience.
This is the non adjustable version (sans AO) and I don't know:
1) What factory parallax is set for
2) If I can adjust it via objective

I thought I had rings to mount, but while I wait for them the parallax owl test may not yield a definitive answer on what it's set for.
I've asked leapers via email, but this seems a rare bird and doesn't live on their site either so I toss the query to the airgunner's wind.

I was drawn to it by the second hand price and resettable zero target type lockable turrets.
It's got a few more mil-dots in the vert/horiz spread too and 12x magnification for the reaching.

I know 100 yards is the generic setting for non AO, but that's an assumption and I'm looking for more than speculation if someone has it to share.

I've a few other non AO scopes, and they sport the factory slots on the objective which can be used to manually adjust parallax, however inconveniently.
This rig does not seem to have them, at least not visible on the objective.

It may well be 50 yards, a lot of rimfire scopes are parallax corrected for that range while CF are typically 100 yards....

I may be wrong. If I am reading the scopes markings correctly it is a side focus model. The left side knob adjusts the parallax. SWAT = Side Wheel Adjustable Turret for Parallax Adjustment .

On the pictured scope, the left hand side knob is to adjust the illumination of the reticle.

Maybe the SWAT lettering just refers to a side colour adjuster? I have a CP IR scope with the IR turret on the side, doesn't say SWAT though. I also have a Leaper IR scope that uses 2 buttons on top of the eye piece to turn on/adjust the IR (not on side).

Rick, your reference to the 1x4 may be on the money.
Like I said this seems to be a rare bird as it's screened SWAT yet non AO and doesn't use the dual illumination button pads on the newer models.
Perhaps a transition scope, dunno.

We shall see once mounted. This isn't rimfire specific (he says, not able to find it on the website) so the 100 yard assumption may be the best guess.
I'll owl it when the mounts arrive. Parallax variation is eyeball detectable between 65 and 100, so should be able to make the call without firing a shot.

From my years and years of shooting in military and civilian life, 100 yd focus was the norm for scopes. I am sure you will find all the Leapers scopes(Non-AO) are focused for 100 yds.

Leapers got back to me (second time after telling me to turn the AO wheel on the side it didn't have).
Claimed "The parallax is set at 100 yard to infinity".
I don't know how credible that info is since parallax is yardage specific and for the second time they sent the wrong manual.
I got what I paid for in tech support I guess.
