Still chipping away, I am only home long enough to make a couple a night. Should be able to make a bunch on Saturday (my one day off).
I am awaiting a backorder of abrasive media, I really don't want to polish all these by hand. But I am making progress.

I have a tonne of PMs and emails from people that want a the covers. I have a list of who wants what in priority sequence. I will contact everyone to confirm as I near completion.

My media is backordered 3 weeks... So there will be a delay in finishing anything I am going to annodize. I can polish a few by hand, but I'm not doing the batch I'll have by the end of the week. It's much easier to let the machines do most of the polishing and finish up by hand.

Thanks for waiting...

Michael

I know where you are at. Take the time to do it right and folks will wait. It is better for everyone.
Craft takes time.. or it wouldn't be craft.
Let me know when you need a deposit or all up front to cover material costs.

Anyone that is happy with one straight off the CNC can pm me. rrdstar I will pm you.
I might move on to another project on the CNC after I finish some more for this batch. I am leaning towards breeches, triggers, tubes or a complete aluminum replacement for the Discovery plastic trigger group.

Ok airgun enthusiasts, I underestimated the number of DIYers... You have cleared out my inventory already, I will have to stop taking orders until I have more made.

Thanks everyone.

Yay, they arrived! Looks fantastic, can't wait to get it deburred and on the pistol. I should really paint it black to fit with the rest, but I might end up leaving it polished because it looks sooooo good :)

One day I'm going to make a 'pretty' 2240 with wood grips, and that will wear one of these frames for sure.

Many thanks!!!

Jim

The trigger frame is just above my expectation. I ordered them not deburred, so I had to do a little dremel work to debur.

After that, 2 out of 3 needed a little more room for the trigger spring ( I have 3 different set up...) so I used the dremel again, but with a much stronger tip of course.
The trigger itself was kind a stock when the screws were thight in place, I used a file to remove just a very thin lair of material just where the frame hit the trigger and I was good to go.

Deburred, adjusted and polished : 30 min each :)

Once again, thank you so much Michael!
