I have been playing with paper caps lately.I take around 20 or so and roll them up and tape them with scotch tape. They work great attached to metal spinners.I had some sidewalk chalk so i drilled a hole in the center but only part way in.Put the caps in and had a great exploding target.I made about ten of them and so far they work great.

The paper caps idea is something that I'm determined to try out. Im just a terrible procrastinator!

The Bang Snaps was an idea I had a while ago, but I can't get them in Victoria anymore...at least not that I can find...
But I've seen a couple videos where they emptied the contents of a whole box worth and then wrapped it all up in a single layer of paper towel. Shot it and it had a pretty damn big bang!

But that could get costly. The paper caps in chalk is a great idea because not only will it go bang, but the chalk will go puff too!

Reactive with a bang! I like it!

P.S. I'm really glad this thread took off! It helps add some imagination and fun to our guns. Plus it's a great place for people searching for something other than paper targets, which are great, but get boring fast ;)

These are fun under a toilet seat, or placed on top of open doors.

Might get a bit dangerous, and I'm not sure it'd work... but what about drilling a snug hole in some sort of target and plugging low powered (green) nailgun .22" cartridges? Maybe as a premium longer-range sniping target, so they boom nicely but don't come back and hit the shooter.

Ive done it. I shoot them at a range that they wont fly back and hit me. I do find it hard to hit them though.
