Thanks, gentlemen. The key is the right pellet. I adjusted the power on the HW100 so that I could shoot a wider ranged of pellets without the lighter ones going over 900 fps. JSB Heavies shoot with a MV averaging 798 fps, while JSB Exact Diabolos average 892 fps. I did this with Air Arms Diabolo Fields, 4.52, 8.4 grains. I could not reproduce it with JSB Exact Diabolos or Cometa Exact Diabolos, both 4.52, 8.44 grains. Curiously, all three pellets are made by JSB and yet all three are different. They shoot differently. They chrony differently, with the AA's and Cometas being more similar (less ES and smaller SD). Examined closely, they even look different.
I need more practice to tighten the groups to meet the Challenge at 50 yards.

I am guessing it was outside? Any wind?

Thanks. Yes, it was outside and it was calm. I think 50 yards with an HW100 is quite possible.
