I want to thank everyone for their help and apologize to Walter for getting bent out of shape in the start of this thread.

I will point out the gun is not nearly as loud as it was before hammer spring adjustment. I guess that's because I'm not wasting so much air now. I also put 3 washers as shims in the stub of the brass pot to increase valve spring tension. They are 4mm x 8mm x 1mm washers. I tested up to 10 washers stacked in there.
Also, I learned a couple things to get better results on the chrony.
The gun needs to cool down after filling. You also need a steady rest of sort for the rifle and you need to shoot at the same angle every time.

Well done, Pumpkinguy. Your string looks very consistent and will likely be even more so with other pellets. I admire your determination in seeing this through to a successful end. You must know your gun inside and out by now.

Well done, you are correct that quiet = efficient.... All 50 shots are perfectly usable, and you can just see the velocity starting to drop for the last 5 shots.... If we figure 45 shots at 32 FPE that is 1440 FPE.... You used 80 bar x 14 CI = 1120 CI of air, which works out to 1440 / 1120 = 1.29 FPE/CI.... With that low an ES and that many shots, your job is done.... Congrats !!!

Thought the chrony advice was helpful, and then found this.

They're ready to install, no taking apart needed. Robert supplies a little pouch of silicone grease with the regulator so you can grease up the outer orings before installing. I'm speaking in generalities as I've only bought 4 different kinds/models from him, not the air arms one.
Ebay should be equally treated for warranty/support as off his website, unless they state they are clearance items.
He has had a lot of health problems and quite often ebay is the only option to buy as he seems to shut down his shop several times a year.
I would not use anything abrasive to clean, but a soft cloth to wipe away any dirt in the tube is a possible option if you see dirt in there. I have taped a cloth to a dowel or rod and wound it up on it and then used that to clean a tube.
