It's from CT and takes couples of hour's to dry, I left it 24 hrs betwen coat. I did put about 4 or 5 thin coat of putty also quite easy do sand and carve to fit. Filled the back flat to the back of the grip.

I found the stuff yesterday and it was cheap,I'm not sure why they say let it dry 20 to 35 before another coat.My first coat is still drying from 11:30 this morning,I guess IU could have used epoxy resin I have some marine stuff.

My young padawan, patience you will have to learn, before you walk many time you fell when younger you were learning to just stand up.

Yes leave to dry 24 hours and put thin coat each time so it does not crack, it make's the putty weak if it crack. To thick the coat and it will crack for sure. Long and slow is the way, when I did it it was winter  and had nothing else to do.

I got around to do it and looks good,it was a little snug getting in so i lightly sanded around it.But now you can see a little silver around the outside,,maybe ge a black tip marker. Thanks for the tip of packing the back of the grip and that drill bit!....big plus!!

Looks fantastic! It could be mistaken for a new style of Pachmayr grip.
