Hey Gents,
The wife and I got into target/plink shooting last spring. We ended up liking it alot more than expected and plan to get a little more serious this summer.
Last year we were just shooting at target paper tapped to a large cardboard box and plinking cans off the top of the box. We were hoping to get a little better
setup for this year. Anyone make something up or buy something that is fun for target and plinking ? We live on a larger rural lot so we generally can shoot anywhere
but generally we shoot in the driveway or at the back of the property.

Those little round candies that look like pills (Rockets) explode nicely. Ritz crackers work well too. Stand pellets up on a board and pick them off. The possibilities are endless.

Pill bottles full of flour, almost anything from the $ store, spinner spoons. 10m targets at 20 yards makes for a fun little competition.....your imagination is the limit.
And play who can light the strike anywhere match or put out a candle.

These "flip targets" need little attention and move everytime you hit them. They are available for both detuned and full power airguns.

Water balloons filled with baby powder or crushed sidewalk chalk are nice reactive targets.Sidewalk chalk cut crossways works great and are about 1 inch in diameter.I have about 100 pieces sitting in a bowl beside me.lol

Ping pong balls on golf tees are very satisfying, but don't last long. If you have any CO2 guns then the spent cartridges make good reactive targets. I have a piece of 2x4 with magnets stuck in it to hold the cartridges in place, but there's any number of ways to do it.

My favorite has to be the smiley face foam balls on a piece of string :)

I've seen the results of somebody shooting frozen eggs, clever idea.

I've also collected some bad eggs and headed down to my local beach with them. Rotten eggs float and make neat biodegradable targets.

sounds like fun but the lead sitting in the bottom of that beach isn't biodegradable :(
how simple is it to make some ice cubes, even add some food coloring to it

Paintballs on golf tees work really well too.

Lol, i do need pellets! Ive been looking online but prices are all over the place. So far looks like scopes and ammo has best price but plus shipping, so still looking. . . And id have to drink quite a few beers to get to $10-15 for a pack.

Before the can, a few army men were sacraficed for my amusment :D

If anyone knows whos got good prices on rws pellets please let me know.

These might be interesting... Haven't seen them myself, and they come from the U.S., but the videos look pretty cool.
