Here The Story.

Today I had a friend come to my place and do some shooting my my yard.
So last night I assemble my FT Rig so I would have something to shoot with him.
I been having problems with drooping barrel on this thing even since I started this new build.
so in a moment of madness I pulled on the barrel like a mad man, well gosh it fixed it, it was shooting great today.
We set up a 40 yard range at my house and we had a blast this build is good now I will do some more fine tuning
but all in all it's ready.

Adjusted to 795FPS
Grouping under dime size at 40 yards
and can do over 70 shots with a fill now talk about progress.

I will have a new pic for you next few days it does not look the same but it's close.
The fine tuning on this made me lose hope I almost sold it a few time I'm kind of happy the buyer backed out.
I got my Mac1 Disco Back.

I'm not liking this set up I don't not like the holding position with my Back.

I will sell it or turn it a different project. big bore or something like that.

Take valve and install in a 2240 and make it a .25 or .30 caliber but This Field Target Project for 2015 is dead I will be using My QbBob for Field Target.
Anyone interested in a Discovery double tube Kit used and not leaking. Anyone need parts? I got a 2k regulated tank to a RVA wood stock and so on.

This thing shoot good but not up to my satisfaction I really Really don't like the trigger and the holding position and lost my Passion for it.

If I can permit myself, I would like to encourage you to go on with that project, Frank. I realize you have put much time and efforts in it, I would find it sad you let it go. Do you have back problems? Maybe you could change the ergonomy of the gun. Also, does the trigger resemble a 13xx or 22xx trigger system? I know there is a 2-stage trigger system that fits those models. I believe you reached the point of ''very fine tuning'', even though I'm far from being an expert. Or maybe you just need a little break. Put it aside for a while and give yourself the time to think about it. You talked about passion, air guns are a lot like girlfriend, maybe you you need to miss it a bit! I have no rights to tell you what to do, but as I said, I would really find it sad you abandon that project.

Enough is Enough, I don't lose my cool easily I been with my wife for 28 years so trust me I know the my limit and this is there now.
Maybe I will start a new project with it like a 2540 the valve in it looks promising and a nice Hi-pak would be very nice to run this on 2K air
I already have most of the parts.

I don't Have a back problem I have back problems starting from the neck down. it got even worse since My double by-pass. But I will live well it seems.

I'm happy to see you have more projects to come! Life is all about evolution anyway. Just don't forget to post about them, it's always nice to see creative ideas!
I personally have a lower back minor problem, shooting upright for more than an hour gives me some pain, that's why I was asking.
BTW, congrats for your 28 years of common life!

Same for me, no cash but time to spare!. That gave the opportunity to tune three of my rifles these last days, though. But the hardest part is the constant flow of ideas  . Had to put some projects on hold, but the brain won't stop boiling!

Well since I have more spare time then I know what to do with and only crazy people don't change there minds. [ I sure am not crazy ]

I started testing my Discovery I put a holographic red dot on it and was shooting at 10 and 15 yards like I had a scope on it.
I took red dot off and instaled a Bushnell Banner 4-12x40 on it After adjusting this scope on it I was back shooting tacks at 25 yards.

25 yards to 40 yards is my sweet spot it's the 10 to 12 yard that bad for me 50 yards not easy but not that bad but far from perfect.
But I still don't like the trigger!

Now The Thing That Make me Sad is the Scope I love really love and proud of is Bad.
so R.I.P. My Zos 10-40X60 Copy of The Falcon T50

P.S. On My Xmas List is a Falcon T50 just so you all know LOL.
