Rick's Small Scale Machine Shop, yeah I kept saying I was going to get my stuff together and have finally done it.

I retired two weeks ago from working for somebody else! Wife and I had a long talk about money and such when I moved back from Abbotsford three weeks ago. We can live on what she makes and just bank what I make. I am going to do small production runs on my manual machines and sell them here and on a few other forums. eBay takes too much of a cut. I might try offering my wares to D&L, Scopes and Ammo, Airgun Source and SSSO to resell if we can come to good terms.

I'll be doing stuff other then Airgun and powder burner stuff. I tried making a living as a gunsmith after I got out of the Army but only survived three years before the money ran out I had set aside for it.

I'll post pictures of the shop as it comes together.

Yeah being a "Kept Man" isn't so bad! :D

I'll be sending the odd drawing as well as things come to mind which I can't make. This is what I was hoping you might be able to do last year when the big move was afoot. Better to stay home and walk the dogs and smooch with the wife now and then... and enjoy the freedom of planning your own working day without some yobo staring over your shoulder. Let me know if there's anything you'd like to collaborate on designing, I'm happy to crank up MS Paint and see what I can contribute. Maybe I should even get into some lightweight CAD stuff if the old computer can handle it. It's going to be great seeing what that combo work station can put out!
