taking the pins down. He's practicing using a Crosman 1077 to hone his skills for a powderburner Bowling Pin Shoot later this Fall. Carter is 10 years old.

The object of Bowling Pin Shoots is to be the fastest to knock the pins down. With gun pointed downward an electronic timer will beep signalling shooter to commence firing...each shot is recorded. Usually several strings are fired and an average calculated determining the winner. It can be a very addictive game.

That does look like fun ... even for an old guy like me!
Carter certainly is a good shot.

Yes thanks (again). I have a good memory but just remembers stuff I don't need. This is the same timer I have and good to see it is sensitive enough for airguns at least indoors. My version says "beta"

Great stuff! I was just rooting for him to break 4s :) Lovely smooth technique he's got going there. I wish there was a better selection of semi auto rifles for this style of shooting.

Wonder if my little Crosman 1088 pistol would do the trick? I am lightning quick with it. Probably the gun I shoot the most. Have an old IPSC holster and belt I slap on. Knock down five pop cans at 20 feet in very short order. Never timed it. I shot IPSC for 15 years and was damn good with it.. Very similar to being in the Tire house in Special Forces. The only thing I changed was the calibre from .45 ACP to .38 stupid(super).

Air Venturi has a shotgun coming out, which would be PAL rated in Canada, to bad it is a single shot.http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Air_Venturi_Wing_Shot_Shotgun/3777

Good find, Rick - would make a gun grouse gun. 12" at 20 yards out patterns most .410's shooting 3" for sure and even 2 1/2" with a mod. choke which is better than full choke in the .410, BTW.

and regrettably the app has not been updated since 04/02/2013 and does not work properly on some newer phones
