Hi everybody,

I inherited a nice collection of airguns from my uncle who passed away recently. I'm not too fond of shooting but recently, I've been developing the habit. I'm here to sell some of the airguns as I do not need all of them. I'm a resident of Halifax,Nova Scotia. It feels nice to be part of this community. Thanks.

We have some members from your neck of the woods - I'm sure that they will chime in with suggestions as to where and with whom you might go shooting.

Beware the dark side - once you have gone over to the air gun community - there is NO going back... :shock:

Apparently ALL of the pics that I posted for you in your For Sale ad were "borrowed" from another For Sale ad in another country.

Could you please explain this to me and to the other members here?

Tried to scam me big time.
Emails, texts. Kept me up late, even sent me a photo of a PAL, not sure if it was actually his.......

He wanted $ tonight, EMT I got his phone # called and it was a wierd link with echo`s of my voice. I asked him if I could ask a few question, the line went dead..

The RCMP are now involved and he will be charged with Fraud and will be in court tomorrow morning.

Great nose wllm995. Was excited initially when I saw this person's posts as I am also residing in the Halifax /Dartmouth area of NS. I was hoping some good deals could be had. Although an asshole comes along every so often I find this forum to be one of the most helpful of any I belong to, and I belong to a few based on my varied interests. I am new here and members have been so accommodating and generous with there knowledge and advice. One bad apple is easily dealt with and certainly doesn't speak to the 99.9% of helpful posts on this awesome forum.

Another red flag is if the new Seller will only accept EMT as payment.

This offers NO protection for the Buyer - while with Paypal or COD; you are covered against fraud.

As well; it they will not talk on the phone to you - or refuse to give you a home address - watch out!
