Anyone used carpet and/or underpad, layered into a 5 or 6 gallon bucket. My boss got ahold of some nearly new, used carpet that someone spilled wine on and was replaced and offered me a chunk of it. I snagged a 5x8 piece just for the pellet trap... I can't forsee any issues, it should be dense enough to trap pellets with maybe 10 layers, I suppose. Will see this weekend when I actually make it.

Also usually make these fence post onces. I have hundred of these steel wire from EMT bundles so i use them for targets. I have many handing EMT pipe targets :)

Well thought to upload some of my hand made targets for show and tell.

Here are some Pet Projects still on the back burner, and some well used ones.

This one was my first plasma hand cut Feild Mouse (first and last one)

Halloween Dollar Store Rat

This one shows some serious destructive testing (+30ftlb)

There is no spray on paint that can stand up to lead splatter.
So I tried just polishing it to see how a shiny one stands out.

Hope you enjoyed seeing some of my FT projects.

Cheers,

MM

Really awesome. You have them on strings to pull back up?

Yup! Most Feild Targets have a reset string to bring them back upright once you hit the kill zone paddle (2points) and falls over.
If you hit anywhere else outside of the kill zone, but still on the metal target you just get a loud ping and 1 point only.

I have tied strings anywhere from 10m to 30m for the fun of it. 5/8" kill zone is nearly lost in my crosshair at 9X.
Some like the challange of searching for it in the grass. They sit real low and are almost like sniping the real thing.

Had a bunch of spinners made too but I think most of them were given away.
The Starling will be attached to a spinner soon.
Will post more pics when I get the next batch finished.

Here's a few I made a while ago. Spoon gallery and then using the extra gammo animal silhouettes with a tin bowl behind I made little dingers that raise a flag.
