Son shot a medium sized bear with his T3 6.5x55 and my 140gr Partition handloads skinned him in the driveway 27 C

Hate to miss an opportunity to mess with the mailman so.............

Wow good thing you don't have small children. Couldn't possibly keep kids indoors on a sunny 27C day, although wife would disagree if she knew bears would come to our doorsteps.
Where in AB are you? Curious cause if you still have home delivery, consider yourself lucky.

Plan to make a rug out of that lovely fur?

Edit:
You could add a small sign to the blood stain saying something like "Not interested in salvation". This ought to ensure you never again get a knock on the door by the Jeohovah Witnesses.

With all the dead game I bring home .........the neighbors don't even pay attention anymore.The only kids in my yard wouldn't be mine as they are all adults now. Humor shouldn't require a detailed explanation or you just don't get it.The mailman always asks me if he's delivering more guns so it just don't much matter what city folks think.Harold

Field dressed out a whitetail in the driveway years ago, and the paranoid neighbors called cops and said I was skinning a dog....

Ended well though- the older sarge I dealt with knew it was season and laughed everything off.
Now I'm hungry for venison backstraps
