I am so excited for this pistol to come in! My second BB gun i've purchased, but first one with the BAX system to spin the BB. Quite excited to try it! It's blowback and full metal just like i wanted. It has a removable slider and full size 9mm magazine :)

Anyone else have one?

Are you positive your pistol has BAX?

In the manual for my SIG Sauer X-Five Open there are instructions on how to adjust the BAX however the hardware isn't actually there. I'm guessing they print the same manual for this pistol regardless if it's a BB or Airsoft version.

I like my SIG Sauer X-Five Open, I like the weight of it.
It was the very first one that I bought.
I don't get to shoot it much, so many pistols, so little time.

I was watching a teardown video and the guy pointed it out. Its supposed to be a very accurate bb because of that bax system.. once mine comes in Friday ill take a look :)

My Sig Sauer P-226, X-Five Open came in a box that had the Bax shooting system printed on it, but the pistol didn't have the system.
The P-226 is one of my most accurate BB shooter next to the Colt SAA Peacemaker.

The BAX system is for the airsoft version only.

post picture of the actual gun you are getting because mine has no compensator, or muzzle nub (?) and the rail sure isn't coming off..... You may have bought an airsoft pistol.

Depends if he bought the X5, or the X5 Open x Mount ( Comp, Mount )

To know if a gun has some sort of hop up system. Just look for a little ramp in the barrel. My Blackwater 1911 R2 did.

I'm a bit confused, is the SIG Sauer P226 identical to a SIG Sauer X-Five Open except for the additional compensator and accessory rail?
I thought it was.

yes sorry for the mis-information

it is the P226 x five open x mount. comes with the accessories. Everything same as standard p226 expect the bigger adjustable open sights :) Everything is removable to make it look back to entirely stock :)
