Thanks for the replies guys!

(Thumper, I'm in Cedar)

I opted for the diana 24 in .22 from the forum store. Don't know if it's worth the extra 50 over the 240, but I'm hoping it's the last airgun I ever need to buy...
I like the simplicity of the springers, and being able to just grab gun and some pellets and be ready to go.

It should show up today, so hopefully I'll get to try it out. Curious to see how hard it shoots, tho it'll only be a guess comparing it to my other airguns. Be nice if it comes close to the 495, but as long as it's properly accurate I'll be happy.

On my other two rugers, I use the iron sights on the small one, and a scope on the big one, but I'll probably sell the bigger blackhawk to a friend of mine. Just too cumbersome for me.

and it arrived.

Very nice. Feels much higher quality than either of the two rugers I have. Much more comfortable to shoot. Definitely makes a bigger hole too.

And despite not being broken in, I'm pretty sure it's already more accurate than the explorer or the blackhawk. :D

I'll have to decide at some point if I want to put a scope on it I guess, but for now, it seems to hit what I point it at.

Makes me realize how frustrating those other two have been.

Haha, nah I doubt that. Was a craigslist ad , we just met in a vacant gravel parking lot near the woods so they could be tested out.
Used is used, always a chance when you're buying from someone you don't know.
