Hello Fellas,

Just like to share with you some targets I made to go shooting with my little nephew. Just some steel plates salvaged from Service Brake Chambers, with the push rod cut off.
Then drilled a 1 inch hole, then tacked some washers together to make the door. The hinge is just some round stock in some old nuts.
Not bad for making it on my coffee breaks over a couple days.

They hold up great, we even had some fun with a 22 Rimfire Mag, never even dented them.

Just so you know, these plates came from service brake chambers, or the service side of a Maxi(PiggyBack).
Don't go cutting/dismantling into the emergency side, and get killed.

Excellent idea - if some larger material could be found - having 2 holes - one for the flip-up and one for the flip down centre - perhaps chartreuse for one side, orange for the other?

Yes, that is a good idea. When I get my garage/workshop renovated I plan on working on something more complicated.
