They had them in the UK, don't know if Umarex ever distributed
the gun or the Barrel/compensator here?

I bet Rob at R&R airgun repair in Manitoba could get the compensator. He specializes in Umarex parts. Other than that, its the same as mine. Case foam is cut different.

Yo! ITGUY.

Ever wonder what the large cutout in the foam around the rear sight is for?

TaDa! A genuine Umarex adjustable rear sight. Hasn't been available in a long time. Eat your heart out. 8)

So much for my powers of observation, duh.

EDIT: I've emailed Rob about the availability of the parts, and the entire gun for you, and rear sights for me :)...along with some new glasses...

don't feel bad itguy. I was thinking the same thing [I also have the baretta with wood grips]. I thought why don't these guys just buy the compensator. so I guess the glasses I wear now are not strong enough. lol.

Actually, the rear sight came as a pair with a higher front sight to accommodate the rear's additional height. The rear sight fits all the Umarex guns of this general type - the Baretta, the CP88, the 1911 - but the front sights vary.

I only bought the gun a month or so ago from a forum member and was lucky enough to inherit the sights with it.

I have it from the horses mouth that the compensator is "almost impossible to find in N/A"...so much for that idea...we'll see about the sights, but not worried too much about. It IS a cool version, but I am happy to have mine.

Thanks for sympathy there Pete...guess I wouldn't make a very good detective LoL.

Regards

Pete

At the time I said that, two were just up for sale here on the forum - one of them was mine, and it was exactly like your example photo - in top condition.
