Benjamin Maximus kit on sale at er…Sail for $400. Any good? Worth it?
Still not sure about these new-fangled PCP things but might be a place to start, especially as it is low pressure rated (2000psi) and comes with a pump that will deal with that.

Having used Chris' on Saturday, I'd say go for it. I know his was tuned by Len so I don't know what they're like out of the box.

Good deal for $400. That'll get you shooting a PCP for as cheap as it gets.

Seems to me it's a Discovery with a syn stock and longer barrel, and the Discovery is very popular so I'd say yes. Lots of positive reviews on the Disco to check out. I believe there is also a dedicated Disco forum or two out there.
The gun and pump for $400 is a great deal considering they seem mark Crosman guns up way more than that. In the US the gun and matching Benj pump is $380US so can't really beat your price.
I've had the Maximus (and Marauder) in the online shopping cart a few times before I say no. Reason is I don't want to pump it so I price the elect pump and all the goodies and next thing I know the cost is unrealistic. One of these days....

I would buy one if they offered a 495fps detuned version for the Canadian market.
