I have to reinstall everything into the tube valve gauge block, I have extra o rings for the valve and the prod gauge port. Have divers grease to.

I read on GTA people are lightly coating the inside of the tube with Silicone shock oil https://www.amazon.com/Team-Associated- ... B0006MZSRW

This stuff was recommended...okay to use? I think i'm getting there info right!

Any ideas or suggestions would be gerat!

No need for the shock oil. Just use extreme caution when installing the valve. I use a burr removing tool around any openings in the tube thenpolish them out with some fine emery paper. I also use a small flat screw driver to push down on the o rings to get past the openings in the tube .

I seen these deburing tools at PA for 10 bucks might get one. What do you mean by emery cloth...the wet/dry sand paper? 220 grit?

I seen this but wont ship to Canada.

De burring tool you can use sand paper on a dowel or a brake cylinder hone. Emery cloth is better then sand paper it doesn't crack and able to wrap around a dowel.

Shock oil, can find a Best Buy. They sell it for their RC cars.

For lack of better terms it's cloth backed sandpaper. Like leadslinger mentioned ,it doesn't tear and is made for metal work. PA should carry it also .

Depending on how good your skills are and how sharp the deburring tool blade, the surface can be quite a range of roughnesses. To be on the safe side I'd start with 120 grit then go to finer grits until at least 400. 600 will be smoother. Beyond that is probably not necessary. A bit of silicone grease on the rings helps them slip past the openings, and a rounded tool helps too where needed. I wouldn't use a screwdriver, edges generally too sharp.

The debburing tool is sharp i would think. the hole is not to bad. You think you could get away with emery cloth only?

That's what I use. In fact I can't remember the last time I bought emery cloth, I just use sandpapers which I always have in my shop. Then I follow with 0000 fine steel wool. Sometimes a leather burr on the Dremel with some green buffing compound to polish. I have a nice deburring tool, but only use it for very initial deburring of freshly cut tubing.
